Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) are now installed

Six solar-powered crosswalk signs are installed on Mack Avenue at these crossings:

  • Hampton/Ridgemont

  • Anita

  • Brys

These Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) require drivers to yield to people in the crosswalks, especially when lights are flashing. Pedestrians will push a button to activate the signal and wait for a safe gap before crossing.
