A business license is required by Section 10-19 of the City Code. Specifically, the code states that any person conducting any business, commercial, professional or service operation in any building or premises within the city shall make application for a business license. Businesses are permitted to operate in C-Commercial, RO-1 Restricted Office, and C2 High Intensity City Center, therefore Business Licenses are not issued in residential areas.

Dog & Pet Licenses

All cats and dogs over 16 weeks of age are required to be vaccinated, and licensed annually. All licenses issued shall either expire on March 1 of each year, or upon expiration of the rabies vaccination certificate, whichever occurs first.

We are not currently offering online licensing of pets. Licenses can be purchased at City Hall, Clerk's Office, for $10.00. You must provide proof of vaccination.

Application for Mobile Food Vendor Special Event

Per Ordinance #896, effective September 3, 2022, a person desiring to operate a mobile food vending unit shall make written application for a permit to the City Clerk. Mobile food vending shall only be permitted at a special event.
