Community Tree Commission

The Grosse Pointe Woods Community Tree Commission is seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about trees, the environment, and community development. Our mission is to formulate and develop recommendations that assist the city in maintaining and further growing an active forestry program. Interested? By appointment of Mayor - 3 year staggered term; 11 members; Section 2-380, By Laws; City Code; Meets first Wednesday monthly at City Hall at 7:30 p.m., except January, July and August.

To apply to serve as a Member on a Board, Commission, or Committee, fill out the Biographical Sketch Application and return to the City Clerk's office. The form will be kept on file for consideration when a vacancy occurs.
