Important Dates
2026 Summer Tax
July 1, 2026 through August 31, 2026
- Due and payable without penalty or interest
September 1, 2026 through March 01, 2027
- Payable at City Hall with 4 percent penalty through September 30, 2026 with an additional 0.5 percent interest for each and every succeeding month until February 28, 2027.
2026 Winter Tax
December 1, 2026 through February 15, 2027
- Due and payable without penalty or interest
February 16, 2027 through March 01, 2027
- Payable at City Hall with 3 percent penalty
After March 01, 2027
- Payable only at Wayne County Treasurer’s office
All payments must be received before the end of the business day, 5:00 p.m. on the due date.
