Ice Rinks

• Ghesquiere Park - Closed
• Lake Front Park - Closed
• Sweeney Park - Closed

During the winter the City of Grosse Pointe Woods maintains ice rinks at:

• Ghesquiere Park - 20025 Mack Plaza, rink located off Jackson Parking Lot
• Lake Front Park - 23000 Jefferson, rink located behind Activities Building
• Sweeney Park - public access is through Ford Court, Baltree Court, Clairview Court, and Faircourt

Please note, in order for the rinks to freeze the weather must be below freezing (32 degrees F) for a significant number of days prior flooding. After flooding, the water needs at least three days or more to freeze before the ice is ready for skating.

All rinks are skate at your own risk.
