During the winter the City of Grosse Pointe Woods maintains ice rinks at:
- Ghesquiere Park - 20025 Mack Plaza, rink located off Jackson Parking Lot
- Lake Front Park - 23000 Jefferson, rink located behind Activities Building
- Sweeney Park - public access is through Ford Court, Baltree Court, Clairview Court, and Faircourt
