Residents of Grosse Pointe Woods are eligible to rent spaces in the Lake Front Marina. If you are interested in obtaining a marina space during the summer season, please complete the Marina Request form. Each marina rental must have on file:
- Signed contract from the Parks and Recreation Department
- Current registration with GPW address (not applicable to kayak racks)
- Current certificate of insurance of at least $100,000.00 in liability (not applicable to kayak racks)
If you are interested in storing your boat/RV at the Lake Front Park for Winter Storage, please complete the winter storage request form.
Reservation and Fee Schedule
- November 1, 2025 - Deposit invoice (1/3 fee) and contracts are sent via email to current marina renters to secure the same spot for the next season
- December 1, 2025 - Deposits are due to secure the same spot for the next season
- March 1, 2026 - Remaining balance invoices (2/3 fee) are sent via email
- April 1, 2026 - Remaining balance due
- May 1, 2026 - Marina opens for the season
- October 31, 2026 - Marina closes for the season
