2023/24 Road Program

The road program includes the water main replacement and resurfacing of Roslyn from Mack to Marter. 

The City of Grosse Pointe Woods has contracted with Pamar Enterprises, Inc. to complete this program. A start date has yet to be determined.

The City of Grosse Pointe Woods has contracted with Mattioli Cement Company, LLC to complete the 2023/2024 Concrete Pavement and Parking Repair Program throughout the City.

Sidewalk Repairs in District #7

The City of Grosse Pointe Woods has contracted with JB Contractors, Inc. to complete the 2023/2024 sidewalk repairs in District #7 (Mack to east city limit, south city limit to Huntington and Fairford). Repairs will ONLY be made to sidewalk issues caused from city issues, e. g., sewer/water main repairs, city trees, etc. Locations of repairs will be marked with a pink "x". Work is scheduled to begin early April.

Sewer Rehabilitation Program

Sewer lining and open cut repairs throughout the city were discovered from the Saw Grant televising work. The repairs will be on the most critical and high-priority sewers.

The City of Grosse Pointe Woods has contracted with Fontana Construction, Inc. for the 2020 Sewer Open Cut Repair Program.

The City of Grosse Pointe Woods has contracted with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. for the 2023 Sewer Rehabilitation by Full Length Cured-In Place Pipe Lining.

2023 Sewer Cleaning and Closed-Circuit Television Investigation Program

The City of Grosse Pointe Woods has awarded a project to clean and televise the sewer lines throughout the city. Through a selective bidding process, this contract was awarded to Corby Energy Services of Belleville, Michigan. Work on your street or easement will commence within 48 hours upon receipt of this Notice during the hours of 7:30am to 5:00pm.

The 2022 Water Main Improvement Program includes replacement of the water main on the north and south side of Vernier between Mack and the west city limit . The City of Grosse Pointe Woods has contracted with Fontana Construction Inc. to complete this program.
